If you are reading this post there is a fair chance that you
have recently been accepted to study a course of your choice at the University
of Southampton, or alternatively you are considering applying to the University
of Southampton.
I will start by congratulating you on your achievement;
everyone who gets here knows how hard you work to even be given a place.
I expect the nervous tension that has encompassed your lives
for the past months has now switched to a blurry sort of excitement in which
you don’t really have any idea what have you achieved.
Pre Arrival It’s fairly normal and healthy to spend a good
amount of time looking at where you’ll be living and trying to get an Idea
about what life is like actually living in Southampton.
I hope this blog will help give a fair assessment of life as
a student here and quash any worries you may have about living here.
